Land Survey Plats

Land Survey Plats (LSPs) are defined by State Statute. The purpose of a LSP is to:

  1. Delineate the boundary of the subject property in relationship to found monumentation.
  2. Show any easements or rights of way of record from information provided by the client. (i.e. a title commitment)
  3. And to indicate any conflicting boundary evidence discovered by the field survey.
Monuments will be set at all boundary corners according to the State standards. The completed LSP will need to be filed with the county if the subject property is unplatted (i.e. not a lot & block type legal description) or if it resides within a platted subdivision created before July 1, 1975.
